That could be true as well. Should be interesting game with 2 teams possibly trying to impress conferences that they are trying to get into.

i think we need to focus on one play at a time, and let the conferences do what they will.

Good point.

They won't be trying to impress the SEC. If you know any aggie, they already think they are "special" and already the most impressive thing on this earth if not the universe. That is why it irks them so much that with a pre-season top 10 team they are less in the news than the longhorn network and mac brown. Perhaps that is the real reason they released the sec rumors. You have to wonder about the timing. Those talks could have been low-key and behind closed doors.
