Interesting that there is a countdown clock that says the site will go online at midnight.
I'm assuming this is just someone's pet project, but good to see. Could the university really be this coordinated in its efforts?

DMN article on SMU's interest in Big 12 was published 3 days later.
Not sure what's going on here, but I like it....

There is a Chris Anderson who works for SMU, but I don't think he is our guy.
Christopher Anderson is Associate Professor of Sacred Music at the Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas. His researches in late Romanticism, particularly the music of Max Reger, have yielded frequent essays in journals of the UK, Germany, Sweden, and the United States. His book Max Reger and Karl Straube: Perspectives on an Organ Performing Tradition appears with Ashgate. And he F-ing loves college football and the old SWC!

The address is listed too for the whois registration but I didn't want to post it here. Although it is available with a quick internet search.

It doesn't appear to be relevant anyway. The dates are more interesting to me, coupled with the fact that this appears to be coordinated along with our other efforts.
