Surprises to me: Williams at second team RB ahead of Lunday and Niemchi. Also surprise, Czerniak at second string DE ahead of Grenier - didn't Czerniak play in the middle last year ?

at some point I thought I read where JJ was considering redshirting Grenier this year

Czerniak is tall and lanky. 270 but still looks skinny..he's best suited for outside

Everything I have read indicated that Williams has looked good at RB. I dont think he will get a lot of PT that first game because of how concerned June is about blocking, but he is apparently running well. Nlemichi has been injured a good part of training camp which is a factor.

They need to fix Acker on the Special teams. They list him as FR-HS and SO-1L elsewhere.

Is there Depth at CB behind Acker ? Since we did not recruit any JUCO CBs besides the unqualifier from Tyler, are any of the freshmen stepping up or are we in trouble there again depth wise ? Last year 6-2 when Sterling Moore started (only losses to TCU/Texas Tech), 1-5 when he did not.(only win Tulane)

Haering, Bert Hill and Adrian Klemm. It’s an impressive
roster, and, with 49 combined seasons of playing
and coaching experience, one that ranks third among
all FBS coaching staffs.
