- With Texas A&M hosting SMU this weekend, will the Aggies leave a spare key to the Big 12 with the Mustangs after the game?

Texas A&M has been rumored to have one foot out of the Big 12. SMU has expressed an interest in taking the Aggies’ place. The two meet in College Station on Sunday, with conference realignment as an unavoidable undertone to an otherwise entertaining offensive showcase.

SMU-TEXAS A&M: Doesn’t this game make you yearn for the days when girls were girls and men were men? Mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again. Didn’t need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight. Gee, our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days… the days of the Southwest Conference. Oh, college football, the death of the SWC was a terrible development for the sport of autumnal Saturdays. A&M and the Ponies belong with Texas, Tech, Baylor, Arkansas, Houston, TCU, and Rice.
