tap is east of campus, chicken and Co are on the northside

there's a reason (well, a lot of reasons) why i left A&M after 1 year and came to SMU - i spent more time in these bars than i did on campus.

nope. up til last year, i did a lot of recruiting for my firm, so i made it down there about 4 times/year. never missed a chance to have a the firm pick up a bar tab or 3.
