Padron Pouts

QB Kyle Padron just ran straight to the locker room; did not stay with his team on field to sing the school song.

Apparently the entire team stayed after the game next to the student section. Everyone except for KP.

If true, just a silly immature move. Almost as immature as benching your starting QB for an entire game after a rough start in front of the loudest crowd he's ever played against.

Maybe he really had to use the restroom.

i agree it was immature but at least it's some sign that the move got his attention. maybe he works harder in practice and fights hard to earn his rightful place as qb1.

Win or Lose you should stay and sing the school song with your team.

For some people, anger is a great motivator. Still should have stayed on the field, though.

I don't blame him. He is probably very very disappointed. THis guy is competitive. I would rather have a player get embarrassed and come back stronger and more hungry than one that sings songs in a crowd.

This guy just got humiliated on national TV. He doesn't want to be a sing song guy with a bunch of other fellows. He is burning to compete and prove he is the man. He is getting focused. The other players should do the same.

I want hungry players that want to play and want to accept the challenge.

I guess the entire defense should have ran in and not sang either, if that is the case. Just sayin".

agreed.

[deleted], you show you are a man by standing together with your team, not running off to get focused. We don't have tape of UTEP in the aggie locker room for him to study. He couldn't go do anything to promise for next week. He could try to earn the respect of his team, by showing that they mean more than his pride.

I'm not interested in players that want to put on a cheerleaders skirt. I can assure you the Pony Express teams didn't concern themselves with singing. Maybe instead of being focused and competitive, had the Pony Express teams just sang more with the fans we would have been better.

Making a crude point in that I don't care if the kids sing after a game or not. Not all athletes want to sing or do anything public especially after a lose and especially after being humiliated.

If Padron ran off that field cause he couldn't wait to get to a place where he can start processing what happen and preparing for his next needed action, then that's cool by me.

To be honest, it is nice for the fans to have the team sing with the students but I never understood how that works into some kids psyche that need time to be alone and process a loss.

Everybody needs to chill!

Believe it or not the WHOLE TEAM lost the GAME.

It was and always has been just a stinkin' GAME.

He is the same guy who roasted Nevada two years ago.

Every shot of Padron the Diva, he had a pouty look on his face.

When are we going to find a QB that is a MAN?

You act like a man and stay with your team like you do after every game win or lose. Its not about singing songs or any crap like that. It's about being a team. It shouldn't matter if you got pulled or not. Plenty of guys didn't even get into the game and they weren't running into the locker rooms by themselves.
