What if Hunt blocks a record number of PATs/FGs? Does he win a special teams award or post season honors as the best special team player?

Would have to block a hell of a lot because those honors always go to kickers, punters or return men.

Didn't Spike (Aaron Davis) win it last year?

I thought the OP meant nationally, Spike mentioned in your roundtable that he got the team's special teams POY award last season.

Agreed. That is the great mystery. It is so rare that some kid other than a kicker, punters & return man has a significant impact. If he does block a bunch, is he that significant impact?

It would certainly make a significant impact, blocking kicks keeps points off the board. I'd think he'd have to have at least 10 to get any noticeable push for an award. Off to a nice start though.
