Kyle Padron made the ESPN high-lite reel. SMU got a lot of Exposure on National Television.
June Jones was lucky and found out in the first five minutes of the first game what Kyle Padron will deliver again this year and did not have to lose two more months of sleep vacillating over last years decision.
McDermot showed him he could step into a terrible situation and calmly make positive decisions and move the team. He did not stare down, lock on, telegraph his target and threw a pretty good ball. No he wasn't perfect, maybe he should have thrown more nickel and dime passes to circumvent the blitz, like Bo Levi did when he made fools of Washington the other night, but he looked better than Padron did all last year. This was his first chance and I think he is not only a fast learner but came away from this game feeling pretty good about his performance. I can't imagine the mental state of Kyle Padron if he were to start the next game.
Padron is a natural Baseball player, I would love to watch him jog out to deep Center Field and stare down the batter. I can see him chase a ball to the wall, catch and turn, wind up taking two or three steps and throw a string to the plate, but make sure the first baseman backs up the catcher.
So things are looking up. One last thing, I don't understand why the Fashion Police on this board have not come down [deleted] the SMU jerseys that can't seem to control the hardware, really tacky, you fools are slippin.
