Looking at schedule don't see another road game where we will be favored other than Memphis. Winning is tough enough on the road and we are at TCU, at Southern Miss, at Tulsa, at Houston, and we have to play Houston after Navy week where our defense practices for run offense then has to switch gears for Houston's offense. Ridiculous scheduling there...why Navy the week before Houston who we know we will be challenging for the conference ? Also at Southern Miss and at Tulsa back to back very tough.

Anyway, if you assume you need 7 wins for a bowl and road games tough except for Memphis that means you have to win all 6 home games. Only home game that is scary is UCF. We will have 2 weeks to prepare for UCF but if we don't win that one and run our home slate I think it is tough for us to get to 7 wins.

Let's face it...this is the toughest schedule we will have played in years. Road games against Aggy, TCU, Houston, Tulsa and USM and home games with UCF and Navy are all going to be tough. This team is supposedly better than we have been in years. They will have to prove that to get back to the CUSA Championship game. We could be better than last year and still go 6-6 with this schedule

Guess we'll just have to man up and actually beat somewhat decent competition instead of folding like a lawn chair.

we beat Tulsa in their place -and I think we have a good shot at USM as well. We finally beat Navy. Houston will be very tough. UCF worries me. TCU will REALLY not want to lose to both Baylor and SMU in the same year.

Rice might not be a pushover either.

Let's just whup UTEP, start CUSA play at 1-0 and get some positive momentum
