Just remembering the College Gameday signs and recall that none of them really said much about going to the Big12, but were more about SMU to BCS, one of them even in the font of the SMU2Big12 site but said SMU2BCS. So, I tried SMU2BCS.com in my browser, and sure enough, same countdown clock from the first site, ending at midnight tonight. It seemed like Orsini has changed his rhetoric a little bit to start saying SMU is ready for BCS/AQ and not necessarily just the Big12.

Thoughts? Anyone know more about this new site?

I know nothing about it, but I made the same observation that you did during Gameday. It would make sense considering the fact that the Big 12 looks less viable as every second on that countdown clock ticks down. Granted, laying a big fat egg at Kyle Field yesterday hurts the cause a bit, but the goal cannot be shaken by one loss. Glad the marketing folks helping Steve O are on the ball.

New site is up: smu2bcs.com. If you go to smu2b12.com, there is a letter on the front page saying basically we don't care what conference, we are ready to go to the BCS. All the other links are on the new site.
