The rumored coming up changing of the guard from the current Peruna to the next Peruna makes for a great opportunity to further instill in students and alumni Peruna is our mascot. Hopefully it will garner extensive coverage in the school paper and maybe some DMN articles. Can we get shirts for the event? It is kind of sad they we have one of the most unique and interesting mascots in all of NCAA if not sports in the USA, and we seem to have limited to no merchandise to allow people to show support and further connect to SMU. The saddled passive geldings do not make us unique and they garner no attention, but a Peruna stands out and is remembered by anyone that sees Peruna.
