I heard that there is a new Peruna in training and that current Peruna is close to retirement.
New Peruna is very fiesty and likes to kick and bite. But plans are to have him on the field at games as long as he behaves. Old Peruna will walk the boulevard and take pictures with the kids.

The current one is old and thus quite docile. Someone posted a video of the Peruna-in-waiting last year and it looked mean and crazy as hell. I wouldn't want it around my kid, but I do want it around the opposing team.

Peruna VIII will be retired at the UCF game, Peruna IX will take over the duties.

I was one who was worried about whether or not another Peruna would be brought in at the retirement of our current one. As long as the replacement takes place as you have said I will be satisfied that Peruna is not being replaced by the geldings. I still am not in favor of the newcomers but I will be happy as long as Peruna continues his reign (or should that be rein?)

The real question is: Are the circle of champions pro peruna? If one of them is Peruna will be here long after JJ is chilling in the islands.

I do hope the changing of the guard from VIII to IX is an on-field event.

I'm good friends with the neighbor of a cousin who knows a guy that used to live next door to a friend of a SMU librarian. You're not the only one connected, biatch!!
So, you know what I'm talkin about, too!

Does the Caldwell family still provide the 'Perunas'? Is that the correct name?
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
