Will the team be wearing the black jerseys this season?

good lord i hope not!

I'm hoping that June and the team are superstitious enough that our performance the one and only other time we wore black at home will dissuade them from ever pulling those out again. After all, the black was just to "honor" Army, right?

Rich Phillips was asked about the black jerseys in one of the online chats. He said not only would we see the black jerseys again, but we would see black helmets, for what it is worth. Surely he knows something about it. Can't imagine, but if the took time to design it, they will wear it. Just a matter of time.

i think some people here are confused about how our black jerseys look...which is awful.

i think some of you think that maybe they look cool because they are "different" and you dont know what young people like

there is a HUGE difference between what makes oregon and BSU's jersey's stand out and look cool and jst making your jersey black...especially when it clashes with everything else we do.

oregon doesnt just have the jerseys they have a whole branding strategy surrounding it...which we obviously dont.

so, for the last time, please do away with this awful idea or commit to it 100% because what we have now is halfa$$ed and looks like garbage

That really was the worst part of the AFB uniforms. Totally aside the traditionalist take on things, bailing on the matte helmet & black pants was not only ugly, but embarrassing. Do it right & do it all the way, or don't do it at all.

I'm all for updating our jerseys if it really helps in recruiting. I just hope that the color scheme and style would be more in line Boise's than Georgia's.

But more than a change in jerseys, I want to see a change on the field. So let's win some damn games!

If we're dumb enough to go back to the black jerseys, I will blackout PonyFans for that entire week and call for the resignation of the marketing department.

Oh wait, we don't have one...

I wonder what excuse we'll be using this time? It can't be to honor Texas Tech, because we're not playing them.

Maybe we will go back to the Navyish helmets to honor Navy this year.
