Totally STUPID to think Arkansas would ever consider leaving the SEC. It's troubling that he was desperate enough to try that call.

When AR left, the SEC wasn't nearly the conference it is today--they left for the same reason that Nebraska, Colorado, A&M and others left or will leave the Big 12--the sob's in Austin.

Alaska ("AK") was never in the Big 12, SWC or SEC. Do they even field a football team?

I think Arkyland would consider succession if the Beloved Razorbacks left the SEC. There is no to absolutely no interest in Arkyland for the Beloved Razorbacks to leave the SEC. This state is incredibly satisfied to have a near conference winner once a decade and middle of the road team the other 9 years as long as they go to some bowl.

See, in this state, competition is never the issue. The issue is always the bad officiating. And until the SEC officials cheat the Beloved Razorbacks out of championships as much as the obviously pro Texas officials of the SWC, BIG XII, Big XII-II-II, then the Beloved Razorbacks will stay where they are.

Just from outsider's point of view, it would make no sense to leave the most stable and best conference in college football to go to one on the verge of imploding.

The point being, Broyles left because of Texas BS, nothing has changed in how UT treats its stablemates, only that the SEC is now evolved into the best conference--Beebe is a BOZO that needs to leave. He would have better luck asking Ohio State, at least they don't have any prior experience dealing with the Whorns. Everyone in Arkansas should contribute a dime to his retirement fund--I would bet they are still laughing at his suggestion.
