That seems really low, but they didn't ask me!

That was my thought too, especially looking at a few of the names ahead of him. Don't think he stays down there long. I hope every player comes out with the mindset to absolutely crush the Miners on Saturday. I'll be there (yes, in white - get over it people) and hope to see UTEP leave Ford glad that their Mustang nightmare came to an end.

I am not so sure that Line will move up that much after this week. I wouldn't be surprised if this game is about getting our passing game back on track and ignoring the run for the most part. Especially, if Jones intends on getting both JJ and KP work.

Not trying to be a smarty pants, but I think the goal will be to win. We can hardly risk overlooking UTEP.

You may be right, but UTEP gave up 231 yards on the ground to Stony Brook (410 total), so the run option should be open. Regardless of all of that, the only stat that really matters is the final score, and we better be on the top end of that! UTEP put up 365 passing yards out of a total of 401 yards, so our secondary better be awake and ready to lock down their WR's. I am honestly less worried about the O in this game; I think the JJ/KP thing will sort itself out, and Line shows up no matter who we play. The defense better show up and shut these jokers down or there will be a need for large quantities of alcohol at the end of the game.

There is always the need for copious quantities of alcohol- either to celebrate victory or drown you sorrows over a loss. Preferably the former rather than the latter.

GO PONIES!!!

Excellent point; I'm just getting tired of the latter reason.

Zach will go for 150+.

QB will throw for 250+.

UTEP's D looks awful. We need this game.

It is not reasonable to jump to the conclusion that SB's run oriented offense and thus yards means that UTEP will not be able to stop what we do. SB was the #7 rushing team in FCS last year.

We should take whatever UTEP gives us and we should be fine.
