He was their star columnist for many years back in the 80s. And I don't remember him ever saying anything bad about UT while working for his sinister Belo masters.

Yes, he was the head sports columnist. He probably wasn't allowed to because it's the BEVO Morning News. He certainly speaks his mind on the radio - and UT is not liked on his show.

I remember seeing a list of the most highly paid sports columnists in the country, and three worked for the Dallas Morning News. Galloway, I think, was No. 2 on the list.
