Aggie claims that it is being held hostage by the Big 12 and that Baylor is the ringleader is a joke. On the way into College Station, I was struck by the Aggie flags portraying many of the values of West Point, honor, integrity, etc. A&M wants to leave the conference because of money and jeolousy. UT's greed is an obvious catalyst. But, for A&M to cast stones against Baylor for attempting to hold the Aggies to a financial contract signed to just a year ago does dishonor to the school. This was a binding financial contract, what did the Aggies believe they were signing? If the Ags can leave the conference for money, Baylor has every right to hold them accountable for the monetary penalties A&M previously agreed to. Baylor will suffer huge financial consequences if the Big 12 disolves. A year ago they relied on A&M's pledge to hold the conference together. A&M put their pledge in writing, what happened to all this talk of honor and integrity? They need to change their banners--"It all about the money--ours, not yours!"

That was before UT got the LHN which allows them to just about control the conference. UT did what is best for them long term and aTm is doing what is best for them long term. I don't blame aTm at all. If they would have know about the LHN in advance they would have gone ahead and left last year when they have the chance IMO. Commissioner sends an email saying all presidents agree to release aTm then sends another saying they have not. What kind of integrity is that. Now Baylor says they will release aTm if OU, OSU and Texas say they will stay, They are trying a last ditch effort to survive. We need to welcome Baylor to CUSA as NICK did.

My comments were directed at A&M's question of honor, intergrity and tradition. Leaving is up to them, but compaining when Baylor wants to hold them to last year's contract is naive and not honorable. Bebee is an idiot and should be fired immediately. His letter obviously rushed the gun and he didn't have the authority he assumed.
