T-shirt Fans

Was just at the new Sams (Skillman/NW Highway) today and there is a section of SMU t-shirts with a nice display to go with it. With this new Sams/Walmart double decker we have managed to get some product placement in both stores. Hopefully it will sell some and not be on the next cargo ship to Uganda with the Miami Heat 2011 Championship shirts
Also nice placement in the store as it was right next to all the Cowboys gear where Randy White was going to be signing autographs.

Now if only Dicks, Academy and the like will start carrying a good selection of SMU gear

Great to hear. We are way behind local market penetration compared to what TCU has done in Fort Worth. Every step counts. Now we need to start getting every student in the area to take at least take one visit to SMU. Many in the area do not even know we exist.

When SMU fans go to Dicks, Academy et al they need to mention that the new Walmart has a big display of SMU stuff and they are probably missing out on some sales by not having much/any.

Yes, most of our fans shop at Walmart. I am a total Costco person.
