I hope we have a "Plan C" in case we can't get a spot in the Big 12 or Big East.

Just a prediction here, but I don't think Big 12 will crumble. If Pac-12 cools on adding OU, Texas, and their tagalongs, OU and Texas will keep the conference together. OU will proposition the Big Ten, but they will focus on adding teams to the east in the NY market- Syracuse, UConn, Rutgers, and of course ND. And MU, Kansas, and KU won't bolt for a BE that could get raided at any time by ACC or Big Ten.

Question:

What happens to the 40 schools that are left out of the Mega Conference? The BCS is basically the OPEC of football. The 40 schools left out should quit begging and go all out in Court now. The 40 schools need to turn it around like it's the big schools that need to be scared. Screw this senate hearings bs. Go out and get a big time lawyer/firm and launch an all out war. Go nuclear. Quit acting like little b***ches.

Missouri will end up somewhere better than the Big East. It also doesn't make much sense for the Big east to add 4 schools because that would put them at 13 football schools and 21 basketball schools.

Red Pony - I'd be willing to bet the entire athletic department will be updating their resumes.

What's sad is that the administration was warned what would happen if we didn't get to a bcs-BS conference by what happened in the late 80's with the DP. You would figure??? The school lost millions for years in lost enrollment dollars b/c of our athletic teams & in particular - no football!

Is history repeating itself?! Will heads roll? I doubt it!!!!

Big East + 4 - WV = 12

Big East - Rutgers, Cuse, Pit + 4 = 10

I don't believe anything I read on the internet anymore..so funny to watch all these sites try to get the scoop, most are wrong.
