Bevo adds UTSA?

The Longhorn Network just picked up all five of UTSA's remaing home games for this season. I say picked up because I have yet to see a price. What is going on a LHN? Clearly UTSA is just filler for some plan that must have failed. Was ESPN really planning on UT going independent? The Big12 wants no part of them stealing games and what other major conference would let them funnel away games? The LHN model is based purely on people willing to pay a premium to watch it, but UTSA and a powder-puff opener?

UTSA's home games for quick reference: McMurry, Bacone, South Alabama, Georgia State, Minot State.

The real money was in this past week's UTSA first ever home game and they missed it. Kidding.

Wow, that's $60mm per game for UTSA. Seems worth it, right?

It's a filler for all the high school games they thought they would air. It might even help them get the LHN on more of the local cable companies in San Antonio.

Correct.

UTSA is just where they should be. Behind high school sports in the order of priority.
