I think both sides want to redeem themselves for not showing up against aTm. To say that Jones was displeased with the performance is putting it mildly, and I am sure everyone on the team feels the same way. We have the tools to manhandle UTEP in every phase of the game, it's the conference and home opener, and it is time for the Mustangs to live up to their hype and blow these jokers out of the stadium.

Posted: Fri Sep 09, 2011 9:32 amUTEP's entire offense is a work in progress. . .to say the least. I think our defense matches up well with them. If we don't make mistakes (ie. stupid turnovers), then I think SMU has a distinct edge in this one. Of course, horrible picks and fumbles are the great equalizer in college football.
