These are leased by the day, and we got the SMU rate, which is significantly less because of volume.

They run about 1200/wk each at that rate.

GiddyUp has priced some other more traditional billboards around town..3500-8500 a month ea dep on traffic and location

Nice! How much do you think it would cost to buy one of those billboards for SMU?

I was thinking the same thing the other day.....just buy one or two outright on 75 and or Tollway. Advertise sports, events at moody, museum, school, etc.

I'm in for $100

RGV, thanks for pushing the billboard campaign and walking the walk. Maybe we should also think of a Guerrilla Marketing campaign of some sort - let's get on the sports map in Dallas.

GiddyUp is right there.

One thing that I think is encouraging is we have multiple movements of people doing something...the SMU2BCS folks...the Operation sellout & hours & effort put forth by folks like 2ndandlong. Still not where we want to be but more than we've had.

Guerilla Marketing..I like that.
