McDermott must get better...

Watched the entire game, about to rewind and watch again.

JJMcD looked inaccurate, although he does stay in the pocket long enough for our guys to get open. But he telegraphed a lot of passes and simply was not accurate on the long throws and missed quite a few short ones. Thank God for Beasley and DJ!!

This was a horrible defense that Utep brought to Ford...I really wanted to see more from JJMcD to solidify his spot as starter.

Practice should be fun this week. D played well at the end, but we wre facing a redshirt FR qb. Their other qb was slicing us apart.

Just his second game as the starter and we have NW St as a tune up game next week so that should help.

To be honest KP did not look to good when he was in the game. Held the ball too long and got sacked.

can you believe June thinks he's an NFL QB-his arm is mediocre for a Division 1A starter. He can make some plays and he's a Senior but arm strenth is a weakness

He stared down many receivers and was very inaccurate. We need to solve this QB issue quickly. JJ as he played tonight isn't going to take us to the next level. As inaccurate as he was and Padron dosen't get in makes me wonder if something more is going on with Padron

watched with a friend who coaches here in Navasota...he is familiar with all things SMU, and made the comment that we sure miss AR. . .there was nobody on the SMU team that stretches the field vertically, and therefore the corners/safeties are able to crowd.

JJ and KP both are able...we haven't yet seen this offense click, not even the Nevada bowl victory. It is high time the offense hits on all eight cylinders.

KP was a running QB only. Which is kind of odd.

If I'm June, I go with KP next week -- but I don't think he will.

I'd like to keep seeing McD. He suffered a lot of drops, and Padrin had plenty of time to master the O. He never did.

Other than passing for 40 TDs. I think our problem is the receiving corps. Gotta have a legitimate deep threat to throw the ball to. DJ's not playing to potential, IMO.
