Losing Al Robinson may have hurt us more than we think

Postby SMU 86 » Sun Sep 11, 2011 1:46 pm

I know some are saying how KP threw for several 300+ yard games last year but that was with Al stretching the field. This year without him it will be tough for any QB to get those types of games. However, I did see speed from D. Thompson on a kickoff return that made him look promising for the future. But right now no matter who is QB it will be tough.

we had those two deep balls open throwing from our own 3 yd line; just have to make those plays to keep a defense honest

Kyle didn't hit may deep throws, either...at least he didn't hit guys in stride very often on the deep throws. Difference was that AR would be so wide open that he could slow and wait for the ball to arrive and still make the catch.

If JJ is going to stick with JJ Mc, let's see if his timing with the receivers improves these next 2 weeks. If not, we are in trouble come TCU time
