Signals?

Postby DiamondM75 » Sun Sep 11, 2011 2:45 pm

What gives? Did anyone notice that Padron, Kaiser and Conner were signaling in the plays to McDermott and that JJ wasn't running to the sideline after every play? Has June changed his game management or is this something he can do with McDermott that he can't do with Padron?
Just send 'da money.

Maybe McDermott is too slow to run to sideline and back

Or McDermott cannot catch on to how to do the signals for Padron.

Or Padron cannot catch on to how to read the signals from McDermott

There's a lot of possible explanations, but we'll never know which is which unless June explains it himself.

Maybe Padron is like the Charlie Sheen character in Major League, and needs glasses. He cannot read the signals because he cannot see well enough which in turn could be why he cannot find open receivers quickly enough. Put some glasses on him and turn him loose.

dont know why they changed systems - but it is definately better. we can actually run a hurry up offense now - which will be a very big deal at some point.

mydrel - too late to add this to my silver lining list?

Probably setting them up to run a no huddle against TCU much like Baylor did. If you get them in the right defense, you can keep them from substituting with a no huddle and hopefully exploit their corners like Baylor did.
