Somehow, most of us on this board already recognized this. Glad to see the coaches are open about it.

One of these games, someday, we ARE going to see a performance that will measure to the Nevada game again...and it will become more of a trend rather than a fond memory. In the meantime, it is refreshing to play well under your ability and still win...something new toSMU football in recent years.

As far as the thread about whining, it does get old...but the positive out of this year so far is the level of EXPECTATION from our fans has risen to a point that we can be disappointed
with a win.

I like this quote:

"WE ARE IN A HIGH PERFORMANCE BUSINESS AND THE COMPETITION REQUIRES US TO IMPROVE EACH WEEK."

I liked that as well, and I certainly hope that we see signs of improvement each week. To me that means not playing down to the level of your opponent (like we did Saturday), not getting spooked by the big stage (like we did against A&M), and finding the consistency that Beachum talked about in last week's Stampede. Unfortunately I can't make the game Saturday, but I hope we dominate as we should. I also hope KP gets some legit snaps in that game to get some of his confidence back; I'm still not convinced JJ is the guy.

That is also true for coaches that ignore a three star commitment that comes in for a invited visit!

AJ Justice was on campus for an unofficial and said that he didn't get to meet with any of the coaches and nobody was returning his calls. Seems very out of character for this crew. Don't know what happened, but I hope someone on the staff reaches out to him pretty quick.

Wow...Where are all the coaches outside of Klemm that have been recruiting so hard?

Secondary coach, special teams, d coordinator, we couldn't make time for this kid...

Where are all the guys who assured me we were working hard....we got a texas committ and then ignore him...

I hope one or more of the coaches gets on this real quick. I can't imagine a coach or coaches ignoring a commit. I suspect maybe there was some miscommunication.

GO PONIES!!!

If this was any other business at any other place, people would be livid....but we are content with being average...I am not...
