#SMU's Ja'Gared Davis (had an INT, TD, 8 tackles, 2.5 sacks & a forced fumble v. UTEP) named co-defensive player of the wk.

Davis was all over the field for the Mustangs in Saturday's 28-17 win over UTEP, finishing with a mind-boggling stat line - eight tackles, 1.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for-loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one interception, three pass break-ups and one touchdown. Davis sealed the win for SMU with his TD at 2:39 of the 4th quarter, forcing a fumble and recovering the ball in the end zone for a score on the play. He now has three career TDs.

Nobody is more deserving this week. He almost single handedly won that game.

far be it from one of us to not [deleted] about something as awesome as this, but I want to know what the hell kind of a game the other co-player of the week had..JG single handedly, in many ways, won this game in the 2nd half

Absolutely deserved it. Was easily our player of the game.
BTW. What does Margus have to do to win special teams player of the week, block 3 kicks and return 2 of them for scores?

Got to admit, the other guy had a pretty good game also. Congrats to JaGared.

We have had plenty of offensive players the last two weeks.
Oh, wait, you meant someone from the offense. That's a little bit more difficult.
