I grew up 90 miles away. NSU and LaTech played in Shreveport every year and it was a big deal. I had teammates that played at NSU (Football & Baseball). And have an aunt that went there. The school is about the size of SMU. And located in a small, very historic and friendly community. The folks I know from NSU are solid, successful and without a chip on their shoulder. What folks they bring I suspect will be enthused fans and classy fans.

I remember when Croce's plane crashed. A real shock to that area. famous people didn't die in that sleepy little backwater area of the country (yet, Frank Sutton of Sargent Carter fame in Gomer Pyle died less than a year later in Shreveport).

I do hope we execute well on both sides of the ball and beat this team as appropriate for a Sr heavy, experienced team with some quality talent.
