Hey SID (the sequel)Brad:
This was mentioned in another thread but I doubt you have time to read them all. I do not recall the color of your other designated "out" this year, but if it is red please consider changing. Many students wore red last night and you cannot see them because they blend in with the seats. I am one that strongly advocates wearing a team color and even more so wearing the same color as the team, but after last night I would suggest blue or (God forgive me) even white again since the students are the ones that participate the most. Re: Hey SID (the sequel)
I agree. The white looked very good (not Penn State good but SMU good). I am just an advocate of using our school colors and more so using the same color as the jerseys we are wearing. But I am pulling off of that after seeing the students last night who were in good number and good sound but hard to see due to blending in with the seats. Re: Hey SID (the sequel)If your eyesight is so bad that you can't discern someone in a red shirt sitting on red bleachers, you probably shouldn't be driving.
Re: Hey SID (the sequel)Red Out - Oct. 15 v. UCF
Re: Hey SID (the sequel)I will wear red. And I will drive to the game so some people may wish to stay off the road.

Re: Hey SID (the sequel)Red out - Mrydel, Get your eyesight checked before the game.

Hey SID (the sequel)Red looked fine during TCU game and is our school color
Re: Hey SID (the sequel)I am definitely on board because it is exactly what I have always advocated. I just thought it was my bad eyes last night until I started reading about other people not being able to see the students very well and thought I would mention it. I am perfectly fine and totally on board with a red out.

Re: Hey SID (the sequel)Nice try Myrdel. Red works well when we wear red. All for the red. Would be great to have a full house against UCF. They certainly filled their bucket trap when we played last year. Nice that they lost to FIU.
Re: Hey SID (the sequel)Mrydel,
Just kidding about the eyesight. At least with the red/white out, it gets our fans to wear colors and not Texas and ND shirts or random colors. Never figured out why we didn't have more fans wearing our colors for games. It is the least you can do besides just showing up. An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and

Re: Hey SID (the sequel)
Excellent point. Couldn't believe all the UT gear. Why wear it. Don't have SMU gear, wear a fricking red or blue shirt.....do you think folks in Austin wear SMU gear to the game?
Re: Hey SID (the sequel)"Opposite Seat Color" out.
In other words, if you sit in the red seats, wear blue and if you sit in the blue seats, wear red. Just send 'da money.
Re: Hey SID (the sequel)Then he should go to the UT games.
Re: Hey SID (the sequel)
leave the UT gear at home. This has been a segment on the Ticket..regardless of what event.
