Stories all over twitter and orangebloods.com saying it's a done deal and could be officially announced by Tuesday. Tech also goes along with OU and OSU to form the "Heartland" pod.

Yeah its more than smoke-its a Texas wild-fire now. This appears to be going down today. It really was the only option that made any semblence of sense.

Time for Orsini and Turner to be bold. There are opportunities for us to improve our standing whether that's by patching up the Big 12 or adding some leftovers to CUSA.

It's sadly turned away from what made is so unique and engaging: Regional rivalries.

Alas! The writing was on the wall when Pitt and Syracuse jumped to the ACC.

This event forced the Pac 12's hand and they are forced to make the jump to 16 to protect their financial position.

I'm sure the academicians at my alma mater, along with UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford, and most likely Washington are thrilled about how money has corrupted the fabric of College Sports.

academician
noun:
1.
a member of an association or institution for the advancement of arts, sciences, or letters.
2.
a follower or promoter of the traditional trends in philosophy, art, or literature:

Reforms were instituted over the protests of the academicians.

The athletic departments at Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, and Colorado are also thrilled to be stuck with BEVO and the Okies.

This makes so much regional sense; the Pacific Ocean now spreads to the Gulf of Mexico.

It is no surprise this is happening but as we all know, how long till the UT, OU, OSU supporters get tired of the late night starts. Maybe not so much in Football but in basketball and any other sport.

Also, what is the over/under in years, that it takes for UT to p!ss off their new playmates and destroy the PAC 10, I mean 12, no I mean 14, oops I mean 16?

Interesting comments about the ACC not wanting TTech due to their low academics.

This week's impending sign of the apocalypse. UCLA, USC, Stanford, and Cal will officially associate themselves with TTU and Okie State.

Selling its soul for Texas. How long before Texas ruins the PAC 10?

Why does Texas care about Tech? Couldn't it get an invite without carrying Tech with them? I guess it is about getting to 16, but seems the PAC 10 could get there without getting stuck with tech.

Baylor must be smiling all the way to the bank thinking about how much money they can bleed out of a&m, the whorens, rraiders, OU- OSU with their lawsuits. Of course they may end up not having any major teams to play but they'll be rich.

GO PONIES!!!
