with the Big east set to fall apart it is time to move to solidify SMU's BCS chances. If the Big 12 and Big East collapse (which at least one seems to definetly be doing already) and all that is left is 4 super conferences we will be shut out. The solution, we need to help form a 5th super conference.
here is the new Conferance
West:
Houston
SMU
Baylor
TCU
Kansas
KSU
ISU
East:
UCF
ECU
WVU
Cincinnati
USF
Louisville
Rutgers
So right of the bat this will be probably the one of the best basketball conference in the country. this conference would have a solid foothold on the Texas, FL, and east coast media markets (remember how much play Rutgers got when they were a 10 win team a few years ago). Has some legitamate football powers who have gone to BCS games. You are set up for some intense regional rivalries (TCU v. SMU, USF v. UCF).
All of these schools are in danger of being left out in the cold, have never been the big boy on the block (except WVU a little bit). This conferences would be just as strong if not stronger in football than the even suped up ACC

This would would be great for us. Two problems. Rutgers is going to be in the BIG 10 or ACC. WVU is prob gone to SEC. You are going to have to find two other teams

I thinky you could convince those teams to come to this conference instead. WVU gets to stay in a conference where it has a great chance to win every year, Rutgers gets to maintains some of its BE rivialries and be one of the best schools acedemically in their division. If not you could sub Boisie state in and make a run at BYU or ND (I don't think independence will be an option in the land of Super conferences)

Sorry, but NO WAY WVA and Rut go for this.
WVA goes for this if they decide lighting money on fire is more fun than burning couches or cars.

If acc doesn't get tx then uconn and rutgers
Need to add Boise which requires afa and 2 others
Then u have 5 schools who have appeared in bcs games in past 6 years

Thinking radically would involve us going independent.

LOL. Why don't you guys win a damn game first. UNT is likely to win 2-3 games this year and couldn't sell out the grand opening game for their new stadium. They are an academic joke as well. If we ever find ourselves in the same conference with UNT I'd rather us quit football and be a basketball school or the University of Chicago-esque type of university. UNT offers absolutely ZERO advantage to SMU, TCU, etc. and barely offers any real value to the Sun Belt. I'd rather have UT-San Antonio or Texas State to be honest.

Why do you guys even respond? It's like talking to a 2 year old (or my grandmother) that I don't understand what they are saying or doing. I just ignore them. They go away, typically hungry and with a dirty diaper.
