Zach Line - Was he going to be a one year wonder or play hurt? No and no. He is consistent and the real deal (as long as he has the right cleats!) JJ McD - Just showing that he can compete and be consistent has been good to see. Still not (yet) as good as we need at the position IMHO but doing the job. T Will - Has shown that he can do the job. Blake McJ - While healthy was really laying the wood. We need him healthy. T. Pitt - Shown he can fill the run stop spot. Acker - Handling CB duties Randall Joyner - Impact in first start Margus - Blocking machine.
Go Ponies!! Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad

I thought Acker was good this week. The others are to be expected at this point. Well, maybe not Joyner, but I thought he played well.

It was a stinger to his shoulder. He would have came back in if victory was not certain. He is expected to be fine going forward.

Def. Most impressive -- JG Davis. A complete stud. Off. Most impressive -- Cole Beasley. Always open, catches almost everything, YAC always. Is pissed when he doesn't score. Wish we had 50 more like Cole and JG.

Line has been the most impressively consistent player we have. Putting up great numbers again this season, did not quit against A&M, had 5 tds last game just like you expect a quality back to have on an inferior level. Last year put up impressive production, filling the whole made by the loss of McNeal, and with a broken bone in his back. Not sure how much of a leader he is in the locker room, but hopefully his consistent performance will catch on with the rest of the hot/cold offense. The anchor of the R&S is definitely the run right now.

Not sure I agree with you on Terrance Wilkerson, he really has been pretty underwhelming so far this season.
Acker was fine against Northwestern St, but was toast against UTEP and aTm.
McJunkin really surprised me, he was making some really nice blocks and having his way with the aTm NT before he got hurt.

I agree. I was very surprised when I saw that comment. He's been, what, our third best receiver? I'm not looking at stats, but I certainly remember more catches by Darius. Cole, of course, is far and away the best so far. ClickClack wrote:McJunkin really surprised me, he was making some really nice blocks and having his way with the aTm NT before he got hurt.
Something else I have not seen mentioned was how much his snaps had improved. I just don't remember that many "QB jumping to catch the snap" plays like we had fairly regularly last year.
Stallion doesn't think I'm a stinkin' genius anymore.
