Mustang Club Lunch

Just a reminder that these are held every Monday at the Radisson. Turnout has been lower than last year (at least it seems that way to me) and I have not much discussion of them on here, so I thought I would mention it in case one of the reasons for people not coming is simply forgetting about them. Nice discussion with Mason and Morrison today.

Luncheons are great - both food and discussion/film.

Make time to attend. Easy to remember - every Monday Monday Monday....the action is the attraction.

I'd like to attend, but I work in Houston and SMU has no remote viewing option.

Agreed, they both do a great job and are funny in different ways, especially Mason.

the video breakdown/chalktalk is more in depth than your casual fan would usually get

There are certainly some casual fans there, but I think there are a lot of people there who are on PF a lot. Afterall, most people here can't get enough SMU football, so why not go get some more on a Monday afternoon if you have the time and are local.

PF is is great, but a few differences between PF and the lunches:

You can ask questions of people on PF who pretend to know everything, or you can ask questions of the people who really make the decisions (not going to say they do know everything).

Not sure I have ever seen anyone breaking down film of the most recent game in detail on PF.

Mason is a lot funnier than anyone on here.

I can get two slices of cake for dessert at the luncheons.
