aTm and OkSt play this weekend.

Might shed some light on how real these teams are and how good/bad the relative losses were.

Ignoring the terrible logic at play in this thread, I thought GJ should be back in time for the TU-SMU game or his out for the year?

Yeah, forgot he missed a lot of that game.

Blankenship has not ruled Kinne out for Saturday
Tulsa quarterback G.J. Kinne remains "day-to-day" according to Tulsa football coach Bill Blankenship.

The senior injured his left knee after taking a late hit out of bounds in Sunday morning's 59-33 loss to Oklahoma State. Sources believe that he has a grade II MCL tear, but the school hasn't confirmed his injury status.

Blankenship has not ruled playing Kinne as early as this week if the quarterback is available. It would come with Kinne's blessing. Kinne told his coach that he wants to play as soon as possible.

"I can assure you that G.J. has said to me that we're not saving him for anything," Blankenship said. "It's his senior year. If he can play this week, he's going to play this week."

IIRC Kinne will be back- not sure on the timetable but he should be able to play against us. The main question is how effective will he be? If he is wearing a brace (which is most likely) then he may not be quite as mobile and also probably will not be running the ball as much.

GO PONIES!!!
