I'm planning on driving home for the game tommorow, but would rather fly out of Atlanta. Haven't bought a ticket yet, though.
When I was at SMU buddies used to buy last-second airline tix online and just go to random places dirt cheap. Does anyone know a website like this, I'd like to save about 8-10 hrs in the car this weekend.
Thanks in advance.

you are a little late but if you don't have Hotel yet-places like AA.com and American Express have last minute packages to some locations that are pretty reasonable about a week out. But I'm not sure you'll find much American Airlines through Atlanta. I'd look for the package deals though

Site59.com - weird, looks like travelocity bought them. I think Amex used the same search engine

No way on AA as they charge way too much to get to and from Memphis...unless you book way in advance. I have business in Memphis and found SWA is the best just by going to Little Rock and driving over and back.

Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion.
But I'm from Memphis, going home to stay with family. Delta has deals for military, but trying to keep it as cheap as I can, just need to get there and back.

Airtran always is the cheapest out of Atlanta. People I know who live in Memphis generally get a round trip for like $180 from Memphis to Atlanta. I would assume it would not be super outrageous right now. Probably pretty cheap still, but you may not get the times you are looking for.
