Is KP down for the year?

I think it is safe to say that if KP does not get significant snaps this weekend, and i emphasize that they must be productive snaps that he is shut-down for the year. Curious as to what the thoughts are from others on the board.

Thoughts??

i think fumbling it on the 2 yd line against NWst for a 98 yd return for a TD with 2 minutes left solidified the fact that he won't be seeing the field much from now on.

That was a dumb playcall. I'd like to see him play a couple of series against Memphis.

I think Kp will play in the 2nd qtr for a couple of series and in the 2nd half if the game is out of hand.

If hr plays more than that, we can assume JJM put us in a bad way

JJ is going to keep the QB seat warm for either Connor Preston or Stephen Kaiser to take over next year. KP is done, mentally never took the next step and arguably took 1-2 steps backwards.

Pony Up!

I just cant imagine this type of decline coming from no where. If he play and plays well does he get teh nod for the season or do we continue this marry go round of QB's. Eventually its going to cost us a big game!

I don't get all this he is done talk. KP threw one tip drill INT against A&M (who happen to pretty good this year) and threw one terrible ball and that was it, sit down. He hasn't had any time, this whole season actually, to get in to any sort of groove going assuming he could.

I'll say that JJ looks slightly more poised than KP in the pocket, but JJ has also thrown two completely horrible unforgivable interceptions to two teams who happen to be on the completely opposite spectrum as A&M.

I really hope KP gets a chance to get rolling a bit in Memphis, at least 3 series. Just to put this to rest, if he can't in Memphis, then he's probably done.

Look if some moron wants to come on here and claim Padron's career is done because of 2 Interceptions against the No. 8 team in the Country-then he's a [deleted]. You develop all the QBs on the Roster-I haven't taken a strong position either way other than to say I'm glad we have upperclassmen-but I've watched enough Football to know that things change-they can change with 2 Ints-and you are likely going to see a game when McDerrmott isn't facing Patsy or Dorothy when Padron will get another shot. If not then he will get a shot as a Senior

I feel bad for Kyle. He showed such great promise in the Hawaii Bowl and continued to play pretty well last season. However, down the strech of last season, we were just not moving the ball well at all. I don't think JJ McDermott is the answer but Kyle hasn't produced at a level we need for this offense to be effective. Its a real shame b/c with our WR's, Zach, and the veteran OL we ought to have a really productive offense.
