Memphis=McD's Hawaii Bowl

Memphis' pass D is ranked near last like Nevada's was. While Padron had Sanders and more games of practice, McD is older. This will be a good comparison game.

Padron had Sanders AND Aldrick Robinson. I don't think we truly appreciated and recognized at the time how valuable those guys were and how good our receiving core was. I think a lot of Padron's early success can be attributed to that. Not to mention the security blanket of dumping off to Shawnbrey. I dont think the comparison is really apples to apples.
