Memphis is a lot bigger. But their QB is a freshman and the restof their team isn't helping him much. If the Mustangs could cut down o. The mistakes, we'd be running away with this one.

IMHO NSU would beat Memphis. Memphis looks like we did in our 0'fer years.

They were horrible in every phase. SMU kept the score closer than it should have been. Otherwise, it was a Memphis Punting exhibition.

Game should have been 56-0, 53-0 at the least; we left at least two TD's on the field. Good to win, but would be nicer if those drives were finished off with points and not TOs.

I am hoping we were trying some new things today. Saw a couple of plays we haven't run, or don't run often. Today turned into a scrimmage for our guys, so I'll take 42-0 with some "practice" reps over pounding what we already know for 49 - 56.

June looked absolutely like he was intentionally throwing the ball again and again instead of leaning on Line in order to establish his own da*n offense. The announcers keyed on it several times-why isn't SMU pounding Line? Really it's simple. June knew we were going to win, we knew we were going to win, they knew we were going to win- June wanted to get his da*n offense working with a QB on his roster. This seemed particularly evident in the 2nd Q.

I agree and I bet a point of emphasis this week was to spread the ball around to all receivers

You are going to see a heavier dose of Line next week.

NWSt is putting it to Nicholls State, 31-0, in the 3rd, for the battle of NSU teams.

And their punter was not very good. I believe if Margus had just stood up at the line of scrimmage he could have swatted them backwards they were so low.
