Anyone have any info on Cole's injury?

He was wearing a brace on the sidelines but nothing so far - no crutches at least.

Brace/wrap was from knee to the foot. Not sure if it is knee, leg, or high ankle. On the field when down it appeared to be a knee.

Postgame show on radio said it was a knee, but didn't know anything more.
Hope he isn't hurt too bad.

Man, I hope this isn't serious, although that brace on his leg didn't look good.

As much as I want to see him play against Froggy High, I want more to see him play the rest of the year, especially in C-USA games.

Get healthy, Beasley — we need you back.

I really hope he's okay. I'd hate for him to be down for long, more for his sake than ours. That kid has great heart.

Agreed ... although I'll say for his sake AND for ours.
Any questions about his ability will be answered loud and clear if the offense has to go on without him for an extended period of time.

I certainly don't want to see what our season is like without him, mind you.

did not look good; could be a huge opportunity for Jeremy Johnson against TCU

I don't like to see anyone hurt but especially a kid like Cole who is such a competitor. You don't see him stepping out of bounds or putting up the aligator arms when going over the middle to avoid contact. I kinda wish he would! He is invaluable but someone else will have to step up while we await his return. Praying it is not serious! Sometimes I hate football and this is one of those times.

I would guess an MRI will be done tomorrow.

JJ NEVER likes to reveal any injuries early in the week, even if he has to. This one will be under wraps for the whole week, unless its serious.

Lets hope its a MCL sprain and not a ACL issue. If it's a MCL sprain, the extra week off would help immensely and we could have him back for maybe the UCF game, but if not, the USM game.
