Think it was our second or third TD. Zach walks it in from roughly 5 yds out. Watch it in slow motion....The Squad blows the d-line up. NICE

We have come so far....precision.

The blocking on that play was incredible. Most of us could have walked that one in.

Overall, the line did a pretty good job today — not great, but pretty good. Line had running room and for the most part, JJ McD didn't get hit much.

Good day by the big guys. Need another one next week.

I thought Tennison looked really good in the middle again today. He more than held his own against those big dudes in the middle of the Memphis line.

that waltz into the end zone reminded me of a couple of TDs that were scored in hawaii against Nevada...right side COMPLETELY sealed off

Think that would have been a Memphis touchdown

Kelly Turner folded like a cheap lawn chair, allowing the line to collapse and JJMcD to be hit causing the fumle beforehis heads up play. Glad he scooped up the ball but do your job blocking in the first place and its a non issue.

JJ held the ball too long. He has to be more aware of the pressure, but at the same time, our line had a breakdown on this one

I saw Kelly get beat a few times ( he caused one sack on Mcd by just totally missing his block) and he appeared to be the one that actually missed his block on that play and allowed the DL player to get to Mcd, so Turner deserved to make the fumble recovery anyway. It was a good run out of the end zone. The Memphis DL averaged 295 pounds and had a 325 pound NG, so they were big and were a good test, but not as talented as our OL.

Jones has openly stated that any time we take over possession inside our own 5 yard line that the first play will be a bomb. Without exception he has done this with BLM, Padron and JJM. That was the call. Thompson was deep down the sideline. But obviously Memphis knew this also and they sent everybody except the man covering Thompson. All out blitz coupled with a long route being run did not work out so well.
