Receivers, No Beas

Postby RSFan » Sun Sep 25, 2011 1:18 am

First I hope Beasley is ready to go next week... however I believe him being on the sideline was exactly what McD and the rest of the receivers needed. (Padron and McD have had the habit of always going to one guy).

Today the rest of the receivers were all in the mix and all of them showed up and made some catches. Hopefully when Beasley is back in the lineup McD will see more options and our receivers will be expecting the ball more often and be ready to receive. I believe we are on the verge of some real Shooting and racking up some wins.... don't you love it when a plan comes together?

Ideally you want to spread the ball around but in this offense the slots are gonna catch twice the amount of balls as the wideouts. Good to see so many guys catching balls but Memphis is one of the worst passing defenses i have seen. We will know a lot more after next week. Although not as strong as years past , TCU still prides itself on defense and their fundamental approach.
