Rishad WimbleyDidn't get to see the game today but from the box score I saw he had 7 carries for 29 yards.

Re: Rishad Wimbleythere was an article in the DMN last week saying JJ wanted to work him in at RB.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re: Rishad Wimbleygot 4 carries yesterday and fumbled once. I would assume it's all part of getting him prepared for goal line opportunities when we hit the meat of our schedule
Re: Rishad Wimbleyhave to get him some reps & yards so that when we do roll him in, teams don't just cheat off the run b/c they think he's there just to block.

Re: Rishad WimbleyI saw him when ran with the ball and he seems to be pretty smooth and hits the hole pretty fast. He sure does not look like he weighs 290.
Re: Rishad Wimbleyi think he's down to 265/270 or so someone said, regardless a big fella
Re: Rishad WimbleyI think Rishad is down to 265lbs. now. He looks quick, but his fumble in the red zone was disappointing. He certainly doesn't look ready to play. I just wish Jered Williams would get more carries as I think he is ready to go if need be. If Zack goes down, I just don't see Wimbley starting now.
Re: Rishad WimbleyHe isn't down to 265 pounds ....he wishes. I found it interesting that Rashad, who can bench press 450 pounds ( still think that is incredible for a 17 year old in high school!) had the ball ripped from his grasp too.

Re: Rishad WimbleyAll right you guys.....yall are missing the most important point when you got a guy that big carrying the ball.....he has to have a great nickname. Anybody know what it is?

Re: Rishad Wimbley
As though We are having a problem scoring tds inside the 5
Re: Rishad Wimbley
Not to be negative, but he has had two fumbles in two games on limited duty. If JJ treated him like padron, he would be done for the season (joke). I am with Stallion and wished they had redshirted him. Since he hasn't been redshirted, we will surely see more of him as the year goes on. I would like to see more of Williams, though he may have missed a block on the DJ touchdown that got McD hit pretty good. Williams looks like a productive back up for Line. Between Wimbley and Williams, we have two decent back ups. An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and
