I would love to play Penn St in a bowl and get revenge for the Paterno retirement rumors that costs us a national championship.
Just send 'da money.

Wouldn't really be revenge seeing as how Paterno stopped coaching there years ago.

JoPa will quit coaching the day he dies. Penn State fans are all over him, yet he keeps winning with his formula of 8 home games including 4 patsy teams ( last year and this year Alabama special exception), catching a % of really bad Big 10 schools as scheduled ( Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, MInnesota, Mich., State, Northwestern), trying to compete with small % of Big 10 that are respectable ( Wis., Mich., OSU, Iowa and seeking out a big bowl game as they travel very well. Typical Penn State strategy is to pay a pastsy ( E. Michigan, Youngstown State, Ohio (Miami) ) pay them $500,000 to appear then collect proceeds from a crowd of 100,000 plus parking, concessions....etc. Bring on Penn State.

I loved this comment referring to our D. "Let’s see what type of offense they have when they play a real defense."
It's great that our D is getting some real recognition.

It wouldn't make up for the national championship that was stolen from us, but it sure would be nice to beat that old rat. Can't stand that guy - he should have quit 20 years ago.

I love what our D has been doing the last 3 weeks, and it's nice to get some recognition.

But I really hope that our "real" defense can continue being "real" against "real" offenses. We'll know after Saturday.

i think of him as the Weekend at Bernie's coach. sits in his chair all week, then the Penn State fight song plays and he's up walking around. if they quit playing that song during the game, he'll just fall over.

His role is the same as the Queen of England, purely ceremonial.
