Out in Cali -

I need a good recording - likely from the Red, Hot, & Blue album - of the drum cadence/chant opening (M-U-S-T-A-N-G-S). Looking at using it for the commercial. Might not use it, but I don't have Red, Hot, & Blue on my laptop so can't even toss it in and see if it works... and the Mustang Band website doesn't have the cadence intro. Try emailing Don Hopkins, mustang band director. I am a member of the mustang band and I'm sure he has a track he can send you containing that sequence. In fact, we just recorded this past weekend for a new Mustang Band album and that sequence was one of the recorded tracks. You may be in luck!

Try that site. The one called "Peruna" starts out with Bill Melton talking and then goes into trumpet fanfare and drum cadence with MUSTANGS spellout. Not the best quality but its there.
