this is coming from Burnt Orange Nation I think but they are saying 4 which would be Louisville, Cincy, BYU and West Virginia. There is opportunity here. USF and TCU might get left out with not much to rebuild. Too bad the Texas/Southern/Florida schools don't wise up and form their own conference. Better than if TCU goes Big 12. I know it usually doesn't work like this but Navy, Army, TCU, UCF, USF, SMU, Houston, Southern Miss, East Carolina would be a nice start on a good little conference

Norm talked for a while today about rumors he was hearing that the Big 12 would add TCU, SMU, Louisville, and Cincy if Mizzou goes to SEC.

Seems highly unlikely to me, but just passing it along...anyone else hear it?

All of this is premature. I think Mizzou sticks with the Big 12.

The Big XII has no idea what the heII they are going to do. They are all over the map, each school wants different things, they are barely talking to one another - typical Big XII. This is bad for us because I would argue the faster they decide, whatever their action is, the weaker the Big East probably becomes, and that is good for both us and our current conference. If a few more schools get taken from the Big East then they are going to be in a much weaker position to dictate terms to schools trying to join.

The BE is in trouble any way you want to look at the situation. Two members just left, two more want out, TCU is now reconsidering joining. The B12 looks like they may take several members. Dead conference walking! Bring out your dead!

So if the Big East implodes and if TCU goes back to MWC... does the MWC get the Big East's AQ BCS spot?

the site is college football rumor mill which has byu tcu cinncy loserville and wvu going to the big 12. take it for what its worth.

If the Big East loses TCU, Cincinnati, and Louisville they are toast IMO. CUSA would be smart to invite USF as soon as the conference folds.
