even ball control passes are fine, but we throw 30 yards downfield over and over again with the lead. just stupid

June tried his best to playcal us right out of this game in the 4th quarter. He outsmarts himself way too damn much.

I can understand maybe using one drive to shoot down the field. But that plan quickly failed in the 4th. At that point it was time to run the damn ball. Over and over and over and over again. You kill the clock, you wear down the team. Instead our 3 and outs were shaving off 30-60 damn seconds from the clock. It was RIDICULOUS.

Love the win, but Jones knows better than that.

no crossing routes when we need them. Just don't get the play calls and the clock management sometimes. But i will say JJ has a calm demeanor that seems to serve us well in close games. We used to ALWAYS lose these games.

i don't think we had to run every time, but we did need ball control short passes instead of sending receivers 25 to 30 yards downfield on every play. that was the crazy part. passing is fine in this offense.

Actually he doesn't know better than that, taking shots when the defense supposedly least suspects it is all he knows whether he has the personnel to do it efficiently or not.

Well I think he should know that setting up the run somewhat actually let's you to surprise the defense by chucking it down the field. It got to the point that his playcalling was so damn predictable. That might even okay if we were at least running the clock down. Bah... Oh well, had our offense scored to make it 40-17, that 4th quarter might have played completely different. Just glad we got the W.

Some recruits (I think they were) left in 4th quarter
