I wish him well for the rest of the year.

Our offensive line is VERY good, that should not be questioned

I agree. His composure in that OT touchdown was very nice. I haven't really been doubting the decision as much as I thought I would, especially considering I was a huge Padron fan (look at my avatar). Hopefully Padron learns as much as freaking possible for next year.

Some questionable deep throws into double coverage - but no question he's got an arm, generally good reads, and just looks composed.

He can win games for us. Might not throw the best ball and we ca question some of his decisions. But he wins!

Yes, pretty good at reading, but on tv he still does a bit of telegraphing. Not picking, he can gt it done, but as important to me is the WR group playing a bit more heads up. JJ is going to get it on, but I look forward to Padron getting some good learning.

Go Ponies!

He's our QB no doubt about it. Can he do somethings better? Of course he can. 4-0 as starter that is all you need to convince me.

I thought he looked good when he reared back and THREW the ball. Accuracy suffered when he attempted to float the ball over the top.

We can work with that. The bomb is not the only way to throw an 80 yard touchdown.

Look at it this way - he plays well enough for us to win, and that is all that matters. I'm glad he's got 4 wins under his belt. It seems like he gets a little better at running the offense with each week, and I'll take that with each W. Good for him, and great for us. Go Ponies!

Will be interesting to see if JJ brings in a JC QB for next year, seems now like a must.

100% agreement with Comet on this one. I was a huge Padron fan, and I still am. However, after the last three games, this is JJMcD's team now. Padron is a smart kid, a stand-up kid. He'll learn from this. He'll lead us to the promised land next year. This year belongs to JJMcD.

Yes, for sure. Why not give it to the 5th year senior who knows the offense like the back of his hand? Talked to a former teammate of JJMcD's (@SMU, not Katy High) and he told me that JJMcD has put in more work learning this offense than any other QB we have had since June has been here. He studies the offense like it's his job. The inference I make from that is that JJMcD wants a shot at the NFL. And if it doesn't work out then I would not be surprised to see him as a QB coach or offensive coordinator in a few years.

Oh yeah, uh, Junior....time to change your signature, my good man.

DERAIL UCF!

The most noticeable thing Padron's missed since his freshman year.
