Patterson needs more lessons in losing. SMU stuffed him on his home field. Wait until next year at Ford Stadium.

I don't blame Jones if he didn't shake Patterson's hand but hope he had the class to do it anyway.

Thank you Terry. There is so much low class stuff for which to speak of with Patterson that we do not have to speculate others. If you look at the highlights of the game, at the end, Klemm grabs Jones and kind of drags him down the field a ways. After that, Jones starts to look for Patterson and it is difficult because the fans are on the field and Jones is not where a coach would normally be coming across the field. If they never found each other I wold not blame it on Patterson.

If you want to rag on Patterson, just listen to the way he will blames his players and his coaches for the loss and never accept any responsibility for anything. He is very selfish. Never gives credit when due and never takes blame.

One of the great ironies in football coaching? Most coaches publicly pay homage to the opposing coach but in private they hate each others guts! Show me a coach and players who are good losers and I will show you a loser! Anyone notice the dirty play and all the personal foul penalties Patterson commanded after SMU got up a couple of TD's? He was trying to intimidate our guys while firing up the crowd and their team. It almost worked but our senior guys really came through with their leadership....not sure that would have happened in the past.
