Pollspeak has the AP voters' ballots: http://www.pollspeak.com/index.php?option=com_psreport&s=17&p=36&v=&t1=86&w=6&r=T&Itemid=3

We got 24th votes from a guy from South Carolina and one from the LA Daily News who put Boise at #1. A 25th ranking from a San Jose writer.

Pretty interesting breakdown, thanks. Two of those 3 guys did not rank Florida in the top 25, i.e. they ranked SMU above Florida.

Who is the DMN voter on that list? I did not recognize any of the voters names as being from DMN, although I might have missed one. Hard to hold them not voting for SMU against them if they do not have a vote.

I think it will be tough to get his vote simply bc he is a related party.

None of my (now former) colleagues have an AP poll vote.

I'd love to see the coaches' poll...if USA Today actually released anything but the final one.

I have never looked for that before, but it is cool to see how everyone votes.

Honestly I don't know if any of them were DMN or not but somethings the previous posters said led me to believe that there were DMN voters.

No DMN voter this year.

Each state/region gets a certain number of votes, plus a few votes from national outlets, and those votes rotate between newspapers/radio stations in that state each year. Most states get 1-2 votes, but TX, CA, FL, OH all have 3-4.

The Texas voters for 2011:
Kirk Bohls: Austin American Statesman
Robert Cessna: Bryan-College Station Eagle
David Just: Lubbock-Avalanche Journal
John Werner: Waco-Tribune Herald

(Craig James is listed as the voter for ABC, so he is one of the national votes.)

Interesting that the tx voters are all in big 12 towns. Not in the major markets of dfw. Houston and SA.

I think that is just luck of the draw this year--although it does look like the texas outlets hold their votes for a couple of years before they rotate. Found a list from a few years back and it was FWST, Houston Chronicle, SA Express, and Austin Amer-Statesman. I'm sure the DMN is in the rotation at some point.

FWIW, the Nebraska vote rotates between Omaha WH and Lincoln JS every year, and every once in a while they send it out to Grand Island for a year.
