Coming up on the Ticket

Will they give us any love?

Wow. Surprising. Some of the most positive comments I've heard about the Mustangs from 1 UNT homer and another UNT alum that roots for OU.

Definitely loved on DJ.

who are the 2 UNT homers? Jub is, but Miller is OU all the way.

it was nice to hear someone talk about us like they actually watched the game.

Junior roots for OU too, but his alma mater is UNT.

That is the highest rated radio show in DFW for men 18-55, and they spent 5 minutes talking about the game. Yeah, they didn't reveal anything we haven't seen on PF in the last couple days, but it's nice that a large portion of DFW just heard it all too.

he admits he doesn't follow or care about UNT. homer implies you're biased to the home team. he makes no bones about his OU loyalty and that he doesn't have a clue about NTSU

College football roundup

Hardline just talked about the game on the Ticket. While they dogged Patterson, they completely shirt on SMU. Saying we couldn't sellout our allotment, even though it was completely sold out, and that TCU gave us the high hard one by offering us fewer tickets than we offered them. They completely ripped us for this and were totally off base in the comment.

No surprise. Corby is the college football blowhard.

I have to agree the showing was not great, but the fans that were there (my guess 1,500 - 2,000) were freaking awesome. When re-watching on TV when we score it sounds like the home crowd is cheering.

I know tons of people who did not attend this game. All of them attended A&M game and did not want to experience a road beating again, but we need people to man up and attend these games. My guess is people who were on the fence about attending TCU will not make that mistake in the future.

If Corby had seen the end of the game celebration in the concourse, I think his tune would have been different.

On the positive side, they did mention the $40.33 special. Although they added the caveat that our crowds will still suck.
